Garry Stokes has more than 40 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, working across many areas of the industry. Garry’s started his career in Commercial Cookery, working in Australia and overseas Hotels gaining experience in a cross-section of establishments.

Garry has more that 21 years teaching experience in the private and public sector and holds a Bachelors of Adult Education and a Master of Education, from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Garry also holds a “Food and Beverage Management” qualification from Cornell University in the USA. Garry has been recognized for his outstanding achievements in the Hospitality Industry, receiving several awards including, Trainer of the Year from Service Skills Australia and Recognition by TAFE NSW for achievement in outstanding team development. 

With a strong history in the Hospitality Industry Garry has held the position of President of the Tourism , Hospitality and Catering Institute of Australia , as well as a board member of Tourism Training Australia for several years.
